Generally, a good work of erotic fiction will get you going, turn you on, and well, often that’s all we require from our favorite erotic authors. Yet, there are times when you want to just enjoy a little erotic fiction, without the need for an immediate release.

In essence, you need a story.

One with characters you care about, and enjoy discovering what happens next… beyond the torrid sex scenes.

That can be difficult to find.

Open up 50 Shades of Grey, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a paragraph that would keep you caring what happens to a billionaire with a BDSM fetish and a young girl foolish enough to lose her virginity to him, let alone an entire book.
